At Wylderwoods Lighting & Design, every project starts with Connection. Interiors are not just rooms or furniture, they are the spaces where life happens, routines flow, and relationships grow. Our approach is deeply rooted in my upbringing in Northern British Columbia, where I learned to notice the quiet, the overlooked, & the ways people and places shape one another.
We focus on how light, layout, and materials shape comfort, connection, & purpose in daily life. We embrace authenticity and the beauty of imperfection. Spaces are designed to flow naturally, lighting guides how a room feels, & every detail is chosen to reflect everyone, Human or Companion, who lives and works there.

From an early age I was fascinated by how homes, communities, & the natural world can hold life, support connection, & foster resilience.
My upbringing was beautifully touched by the Nisga’a, Gitxsan, Witsuwit’, & Tāłtān communities. While I am not First Nations, I spent most of my time alongside these communities, visiting homes, attending powwows, & learning about the challenges they navigate. I share this not to speak for these communities, but to honour what shaped my childhood & early adult life.
Through these experiences, I learned to listen, observe, & see that the concept of a home is about more than walls or a roof. These lessons continue to guide how I design. My aim is to create spaces that hold comfort, connection, & purpose for everyone who inhabits the concept of a home.
I am very grateful to now live & work within the Ancestral & unceded traditional territory of the Hul’qumi’num & SENĆOŦEN speaking peoples on Salt Spring Island.
